Heather Ciranna

Heather Ciranna is the new Managing Partner and Operator of Kave Coffee Bar in Barberton, and the Owner and Operator of Corner Cup Coffeehouse in Stow. She is passionate about creating places where people can gather, nurture relationships, and share their talents. She counts herself lucky to be realizing her life-long dream of owning and operating local coffeehouses to do just that.

Heather’s greatest joy in building small businesses has nothing to do with getting rich…it’s about offering a place where humans can connect and learn, with and about each other and the community they serve. Her core brand promise is providing an exceptional, memorable customer experience, and she focuses on doing this every day with her product, her people, and her passion for local connections.

Heather is a member of the Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Stow-Munroe Falls, the Greater Akron Chamber, and the Greater Akron Knowledgeable Network of Women, and is looking forward to getting involved in the Barberton business networking community as well. She is dedicated to mentoring young people, and frequently speaks to students in the local schools and at the surrounding universities about leadership, entrepreneurship, and the right steps to take to make their dream a reality. Prior to coffeehouse ownership, she had a successful 20+ year corporate career in business, marketing, public relations, and trade-show management.

What I'm Doing Outside of the Kave Coffee Bar

When I’m not hanging out at Kave, I’m typically: Well, honestly, I just hang out at my coffeehouses all day… because I’m a small biz owner, I love this life, and there aren’t enough hours in the day! You can also find me on the running trail or digging into a home redecorating project.

Fun Fact

I learned how to be a barista at the same time as the rest of my original staff. I will always love that we trained and spilled and learned together, and I still learn from them every day. About everything.
